Mad As Hell: In a situation where an enemy has the drop on them, Mike and Marcus will often let their most recent arguments bubble to the surface with such fierceness and ferocity that it takes their foes minds off the fact that they're holding their victims at gunpoint. When they finally do burst into action, Marcus and Mike have the initiative, and a +2 to their AV's for their initial, often brilliantly quick attacks.

Background:
Tall, sauve, handsome, Mike Lowery doesn't seem to be a Miami narc. He dresses in silk shirts, lives in the exclusive Collins Park apartments, and drives a $120,000 Porsche, one of the fastest cars in production. But for all this slickness, he's just a young man who's parents left him a lot of money. He's a hard working cop, giving it his all, even to the point of taking on odds he knows he can't handle, such as chasing down a runaway jeep full of gunmen. His partner of six years, Marcus Burnett, is also his childhood friend, and they've been friends all their lives, despite their often stormy arguments.

Background:
Marcus Burnett, married for ten years, and partnered with Mike Lowery, his childhood friend and partner of 6 years, has seen much better times. On a week where his wife isn't giving him any and his kids are acting all wild, a bust he and Mike had been working on, $200 in heroin, is stolen from police headquarters, Mike's girlfriend is murdered by the thieves, and the only witness won't talk unless Mike Lowery (who she believes Marcus to be) protects her at his home. Dealing with a jealous wife, an irate and now homeless partner, and a gaggle of gunmen, Marcus isn't exactly in the mood to read people their rights anymore.

Mike: That gunshot in your leg sure improved your driving abilities, Marcus.
Marcus: This fool stole our bust, kidnapped Julie, and shot at my wife. This bitch is going down.
